Eisenmetalle zählen zu den wahren Schwergewichten im Recycling. Robust, magnetisch und nahezu unendlich wiederverwertbar und der Energieaufwand für recycelten Stahl ist bis zu 70 % geringer als bei der Neuproduktion.

Wie funktioniert das Ganze? Die Metalle werden sortiert, zerkleinert, eingeschmolzen – und als Legierungen neu kombiniert. Ob Edelstahl, Gusseisen oder hochfester Baustahl – jede Variante bringt ihre eigenen Stärken mit. Manche trotzen Hitze, andere punkten mit Elastizität oder Korrosionsschutz. So entstehen aus altem Material neue Lösungen für moderne Herausforderungen und das langlebig, zuverlässig und ressourcenschonend.
